Pristine Millwork ultimately got their start in the mountains of Colorado in the 90's. The owner built luxury homes for the likes of ex-presidents, NASCAR drivers and top executives in the Vail Valley and areas around Aspen until the last 10k+ sq. ft. permit to build was auctioned off in Aspen.
Next came a period in North Carolina doing historic restoration and custom woodwork. This included work at Old Salem and Bethania with notable projects including the Timothy Vogler house and gunsmithing shop and the Lord Cornwallis house.
During the completion of the Vogler project at Old Salem came 9/11 and the resulting recession which again called for a change to sustain the status quo.
Kindred Healthcare, the largest private healthcare provide in the U.S. was revamping facilities on the east coast and we took that on with a crew that grew to 18 employees with operations from Massachusetts to Georgia.
The last proposed project was in Hollywood Florida which prompted a scouting mission by the owner to the area.
This led to the next transition.
South Florida was booming and the demand for high quality millwork in both the luxury residential market along with the yachting industry was at a all time high. South Florida had the fastest growing economy in the country, with that came the demand for fine wood products.
